Hiring: Supply Chain Administrator for a young, growing cat product company

The company:
Miaustore is a growing company selling cat products in over 19 different countries. Founded by a Swiss entrepreneur in 2013 who spent years creating unique, stylish cat products that have become very popular over time.
Location: You will work remotely, from your home

The Job:
As supply chain Assistant manager you will make sure that our products are always in stock in our warehouses in Poland, USA, Netherlands, Switzerland and Australia.
You will make new orders from our suppliers, work with the transportation companies and make sure the import documents get prepared properly.
Because we are a young, expanding company, you will also do a lot of work to find new suppliers and replace existing ones.
You will always monitor our inventory levels to make sure we order the right amount of resupply at the right time. In addition, you will assist in other areas and ensure that orders from our marketplaces and drop-shippers reach the customer and provide advice and support to our customers.

Requirements/Skills:
• Work ethic and reliability: thousands of cat owners around the world are relying on you to receive their products
• Intelligence: No real experience or knowhow is needed, but you need to be fast at solving problems as they arise
• Good communication skills: You will be dealing with suppliers and logistics companies from tons of different countries
• Good level of English
• Independence: As mentioned earlier, you will be working from your own house. We expect you to work with little to no supervision. We just define your goals once a month or so, and then you are on your own. Of course, we will provide you with all the tools and know-how that we can, but you are expected to take responsibility for our supply chain
• Energetic, driven, and persistent: When management decides to add a new product or expand into a new country, it is critical that you act fast and make it happen. The high level of freedom mentioned in the last point does NOT mean you get to drag your feet. We expect you to execute all tasks with a sense of urgency, even when no supervisors are watching. Miaustore has a lot of massive growth opportunities available, the faster the supply chain is ready, the faster we can take advantage of these opportunities
• You don’t make excuses. When trying to find suppliers you will encounter obstacles. That’s when your job STARTS not ends. You are expected to power through these obstacles and find solutions, no matter what it takes. You might have to spend 2 days reading about Brazilian import duties. You might have to call 200 transportation companies in Poland on the phone. But you should never make excuses. In our company, we jump with joy every time we encounter an obstacle. The bigger the obstacle the better. Because this means we have a big advantage over our competitors as soon as we overcame the obstacle
• You need to be available to start very soon

Compensation: 30,000-40,000 INR/month or 70,000-90,000 PKR/month, with potential for increase as the business grows.
